Golfing Overview - About the course
The golf course consists of three nine-hole loops that play away from and back towards the clubhouse. The championship combination of the East and West Courses weighs in at a super heavy weight length of 6,697 metres from the black tees, which is so long that some of the holes were played from the blues during the Davidoff Tour Q-School. The North Course is designed to be the shortest and easiest of the three, but golfers will be well advised not to under estimate the 2911-metre collection as it is no pushover.
The East Course measures 3297 metres from the back markers and challenges golfers with a healthy dose of water. One of the highlights here is number 7, a double dogleg right par 5 that tempts long hitters to cut across the dogleg and the lake to attack the green in two.
The West Course is the longest of the three nines, measuring a back breaking 3400 metres from the back tees. Fully lit for night golfing, this nine hole tract boast Orna's signature hole, the par three 12th that plays from elevated tees to a dramatic island green. Another gem is the unconventional par five 4th, which spits into two separate route on either side of a lake after the first landing area, then converges at the green site.
